WONDERFUL SERVICE- @@ FCBC
today's sermon was relevant to all of us
it was amazingly useful to me also
God proved to me that He was indeed with me
throughout the day & night
no matter how good or bad the circumstences were
He was there for me, for all of us ;)
i thought i wanted to share with the people who read
my blogg, abt the sermon today ^.^

TOPIC :
Reasons why we have confidence in Jesus
while facing troubles of life
VERSE - John 14: 1-7
1. We are ASSURED of our final destiny
In verse 1 it says, "Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Trust in God ; trust also in Me."
This verse tells us that in times of crisis and troubles,
we should not fear of what's
coming and what's going to happen.
Even when it concerns about your life,
when you are on the verge of death ;
trust in the Lord,
bcos we know where our Father is going to bring us to.
Pastor shared that "Unless we are prepared
to die, we are not prepared to LIVE."
in my opinion, the LIVE here refers to the life after death
whhich we are given grace to be with our heavenly Father.
2. we DO KNOW the heavenly Father
one thing about christianity that both my uncle
& pastor patrick have noticed is that
Jesus was the only person dared claim to be the true God
by looking at John 14: 6
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through me."
Also, our heavenly Father allowed us to go through
difficulties & life trials bcos of one reason.
the REALITY of our GOD is ONLY tested in CRISIS!
paying attn to the caps words,
i truly truly believe that it is true .
i hate to admit it, but most of the time
when im feelin happy and everything seems to go smooth
i will forget the grace that God has provided me
andd take things for granted.
Seeking verociously for God only happens
when crisis approaches
and that's when i truly really see the power of God
3. We are PROMISED God's continuous presence

touched? yes i was touched too, the very first time
i got to know about this story was about 2 or 3 years back

FRANKLY SPEAKING, God has already showed me His presence
when i made a decision to get up & head to churchh this morning
struggling whether or not to attend churchh ;
i told myself that God will teach me somethin essential to me today
that He will help me find an answer to my problem
and that I am going to seek Him for that answer
with that master seed of faith that God inplanted in me,
i went to churchh, and there, He has answered my prayers :)
Praise the Lord.

She taught us about renewing our mind in the Lord.
In everything we do, from studying to attending services.
With the renewal of our mind in the Lord,
anything is possible, anything.
